Why it works

An image converter that never needs a server upload

Different formats solve different problems. PNG keeps transparency and sharp interface graphics, JPG is widely compatible for photographs, and WebP offers efficient compression for modern websites.

This converter decodes the image in your browser and writes a new file at the original dimensions. Adjust quality for JPG and WebP, inspect the preview, then download the result.

Frequently asked questions

Which format should I choose?

Use PNG for transparency and sharp graphics, JPG for broad photo compatibility, and WebP for smaller modern web assets.

Will converting an image resize it?

No. This tool preserves the original pixel width and height.

Why did transparency disappear in JPG?

JPG does not support transparent pixels. The converter fills transparent areas with white before JPG export.

Is the source image uploaded?

No. Decoding and export happen in your browser.
